DAVE HEINZE: B.Comm., CPA, CMA, CIM: Dave has a Bachelor of Commerce degree, is a Certified Management Accountant and a Canadian Investment Manager. He has been involved in private industry & government accounting and auditing since 1978. He was very active in the Calgary business community. At the Calgary Chamber of Commerce, he has chaired The Entrepreneur Center Task Force, Independent Business Policy & Legislation sub-committee, Small Business Week sub-committee, Home Based Business sub-committee, Emerging Enterprise of the Year award selection committee, the CCRA sub-committee of the Tax and Economic Affairs Committee and has been Vice-Chairperson of the Entrepreneur Business Committee. He has also sat on the Human Resource committee, Presidential Commission on Business Financing, Presidential Commission on Taxation, and the Tax and Economic Affairs committee. In 1990, the Calgary Chamber awarded him an achievement award. Outside the Chamber, Dave sat on the Society of Management Accountants of Alberta, Practice Review Committee for four years and was a founder of the Calgary and Area CMA's in Public Practice.
Currently Dave is the President of Okotoks Area Rural Crime Watch Association and prior to 2020 he volunteered at Momentum.
Prior to starting the Heinze Group with Marian Dave worked as an Auditor for The Auditor General of Canada, Hudson Bay Oil & Gas Company, The Alberta Petroleum Incentive Program, Canterra Energy and Canadian Occidental Petroleum.
MARIAN HEINZE: Accounting Diploma - N.A.I.T.; Marian has been involved in public accounting practices since 1979. She has been managing our practice since 1985. Marian is currently Vice President of the Alberta Kennel Club and Chairperson of its Judges Selection Committee. She is also Treasurer of Okotoks Area Rural Crime Watch Association.
